Head mounted displays or HMD for short have been around for decades in various shapes and sizes. It is only within the last 10 years that we have seen some HMD units that look more like glasses and not like funky foofball helmets. Vuzix has been manufacturing iwear that are light weight and closer to eyeglasses in look and feel. The iWear AV920 allows users to see a video image that compares in size to a 62 inch regular TV. The AV920 is not designed to allow for mobility use while walking. The latest offering to be available sometime this year is the Wrap 920AV.

The Wrap 920AV will offer similar functionality and a large image display like the AV920 and also some mobility while watching the video. The Wrap 920AV is designed to work with most commonly available video sources and mobile video devices.

1. The Wrap 920AV is less than 3 ounces in weight.
2. Looks very stylish and do not look like space age goggles.
3. Unique “see-thru” lens design.
4. Allows for prescription lens inserts.
