We are pleased to announce immediate availability of 3 new applications for Apple’s iPhone and iPod touch – WritePad, WritePad Notes, and WritePad Affairs. WritePad is the first iPhone application that utilizes an advanced handwriting recognition engine for cursive and print/mixed styles developed specifically for iPhone and optimized for finger input instead of the stylus.
- a new custom editor for iPhone. The program utilizes handwriting recognition input for the English language as well as iPhone keyboard for text entry and features spell checker, context analyzer, standard editing operations such as copy, cut, paste, and more.
- a simple notes organizer that uses the WritePad editor for text entry. You can create, edit, search, and filter notes stored in the database. You can also import (export) notes from (to) Outlook or PhatNotes via CSV file.
- a simple affairs (tasks, jobs, contracts, etc.) organizer that uses the WritePad editor for text entry. You can create, edit, search, and filter affairs stored in the database. You can also import (export) affairs from (to) Outlook Tasks via CSV file.
PhatNotes for iPhone is scheduled to be released in Q1, 2009. PhatNotes will utilize the WritePad editor for text entry on the iPhone and iPod Touch devices. It will also support synchronization with the PhatNotes desktop software (sold separately) and, later, Microsoft Outlook.
